When someone tells you that he/she has not had a single drop of grease in his/her meal since long and yet the weight refuses to decrease, do you believe it? Mostly you don’t! you end up thinking that if it was not oil or fat, it must be soda or sugar that has landed one in a massive bean bag-like body!
But is it always the fault of your oil intake or sugary delicacies that you have an oversized body? According to the experts, dietary fat does not so readily get converted into body fat. Perhaps the answer lies somewhere else!
It is carbohydrates that get converted into fat because of insulin. Overweight people mostly suffer from hyperinsulinemia, a condition resulting from increased level of insulin in one’s body which is caused by overfeeding of carbohydrates. Over-consumption of carbohydrates makes your body resistant to insulin. This leads to fat accumulation in the body. This harms your body from within and the internal disorder is reflected in your overall personality and disposition through the telling appearance of signs of aging.
Given a glimpse of side effects a complication that an overdose of carbohydrate is responsible for, it is only advisable to you to limit the number of carbs you put inside your body. This way insulin level will decrease while the amount of glycogen, is responsible for burning excess fat in the body, will increase significantly.
And if you prohibit carbohydrate from your diet, your body will undergo ketosis. In this process the blood sugar level stabilizes, insulin level drops and the subsequent production of ketone in your bloodstream leads to weight loss!
Though people fall for a Ketogenic diet, but this means to lose weight may hazard deficiencies of sorts in your body and can harm your health. Though ketosis is an effective way to lose weight, but you better stay calm and composed since for a healthy body, carbohydrates are as much essential as any other nutrient.
Though to gain a loss of weight you do not have to restrict yourself to a ketogenic diet alone but if you are keen, cut your carb intake to 30gms a day. Given the dichotomy, those who simply want not to give up carb cravings, they can simply check their calorie intake.
Those who are skinny and have a diabetic composition, they better avoid this diet, but if one is diabetic prone and is overweight too, then a Ketogenic diet suit him/her.
So my advice is to maintain a balance in your dietary practices and enjoy life full throttle!
