Many of us want to lose some weight, but don’t know from where to start. To start with, we have to get rid of the excess calories we take through our diet such from food items such as pizza, burger, ice cream, chocolates, cold drink etc. that are fast becoming the part of today’s lifestyle and are rich in calories. Knowing that these items are not suitable for us we continue to take them. So, they are definitely going to harm us in the long run.

So, we have to turn to more natural and healthy food items and have to include some workouts and physical exercises in our schedule. Apart from having low calories, natural foods are a good source of proteins, vitamins, and minerals. Food items such as salads, pulses, vegetables, milk need to be included in our daily life. We have to develop good eating habits by taking breakfast, lunch, and dinner at a proper time. Doing some physical exercises such as walking, cycling, gym and sports also help in maintaining a proper body shape. So, there are some rules which will definitely help you in losing extra pounds if you follow them in your daily life:-

1.)  Before stepping out of the home take a proper breakfast, as it is most important that your body becomes prepared for the stress that you are likely to encounter during the later part of the day. If possible, start your day with a fruit and glass of milk.

2.)  Lunch should be at the proper time. It should be the main meal of the day and should include food items such as pulses, salad, rice, curd and should be taken in good quantity.

3.)  When in office do some stretching exercises while on the seat as they will help in relaxing your body muscles.

4.)  Dinner should be taken in moderate amount; apart from it, go early to bed and take proper sleep for about 6 to 8 hrs and rise early in morning.

If possible then take some time out in morning and evening to do some simple exercises as it will help in relaxing and stretching the muscles of the body; you can play with your children, take up some sports, go for a cycling which is going to help you in getting a good shape. Also, keep track of your weight from time to time and try keeping it in control. These are the best ways to lose weight and to be healthy.
