Claustrophobia can be described as a fear of closed places. A correct description may be a fear of not having a route to escape because for any person who experiences this type of phobia this is the prevailing feeling remains the one when the need to be able to get out of or get to home, quickly overpowers you.
At the onset, let’s be clear that claustrophobia is not a disease or illness and it can be cured.
If anyone has claustrophobia, they may feel panicked while in a small or enclosed space. They may shake, sweat or can experience the heart and breathe palpitations. They may also yell or cry. - Soon after entering any room or place they can check various exits leading out of the place and should place themselves near to the doors, as when all the windows and doors are closed they may start feeling troubled.
- When in a swarmed or crowded event or party, whether the venue is spacious and large so that they can position themselves nearer to the door.
- Do avoid driving at rush hours, when traffic is considered to be jammed and largely congested.
- Also, avoid traveling as a passenger at traffic times
- It is also found that some individuals with claustrophobia may start panicking whenever a door or window is closed
- Restrict usage elevators and increase using the staircases, even when you get out of breath or get tired.
